This 2-Light SL200 1200W Soft Light Kit from Smith-Victor provides content creators and vloggers ample lighting options with two soft lights and two DYH 600W quartz halogen lamps. This kit includes two 8' Raven RS8 aluminum light stands, a wheeled case, and an "Imaging with Light" guide. The lamp light bounces out of the curved reflector to create soft, diffused light.

These lights are really nice due to their mobility and floods a limited area very well. If you have a very large space to light, you'll need more than these... but for a more compact space they are perfect. I needed a simpler solution than traditional softboxes (the complexity of setup in a limited time) and these were the answer. The total kit combines for about 30 lbs with the case, so transporting is a breeze. They do get very hot, but that is true of all halogen light sources. The only thing I'd change, the lights only dim high and low, there is no in between.
Good low end kit for three point lighting. I use it for interviews and, agumented by rented lights, for larger productions.
