Great spring tension, holds clip firmly. The tight swivel tension lets you precicely choose the mic's direction and it stays in place, does not flop around! There are no negatives here. This is one fine clip!
I have a Shure wireless lavalier and the clip that came with it was really flimsy plastic & within 6 months the clip would not hold the microphone any longer. For the most part this clip is metal but the part that holds the microphone is still plastic but the plastic is a lot thicker than the old one I had and it held the microphone very securely. Wish this clip came with all their wireless lavaliers.
