Shure SFG-2 Tracking Force Gauge

The Shure SFG-2 tracking force gauge accurately measures the stylus tracking force in order to minimize needle and vinyl wear, skipping, etc. The SFG-2 utilizes a calibrated beam balance that mounts between the platter spindle and cartridge and is designed to measure tracking forces from 0.5 to 3.0 grams in .05 gram increments. It's rolling beam pivots are engineered for minimal friction.
