I interacted with this zoom at Canon Expo NY 2015, and after using a multitude of zoom controls over the years, I can say without hesitation this is the smoothest, most accurate and solid zoom I've ever laid my hands on. If you're in an application where your zoom control needs to be extremely precise (live television, sports, etc), you MUST take a look at this one. You get what you pay for.

Simply the best zoom remote ive ever worked with. Very smooth zooms are possible with this tool... Forget these low-cost solutions...do the right thing and buy this tool.

The Canon ZSD-300D Digital Zoom Servo Demand (B&H# CAZSD300D) has the required 20-pin connection for use with the Canon PZ-E2 Power Zoom Adapter (B&H# CAPZE2) and the Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM Z Lens (White) (B&H# CA70200LRFW). The three will work well together on compatible (Canon RF-mount) camera bodies.

the button at the bottom is used to start stop recording in camera that connect to the canon cine lens. is there a way to use this zsd300d to start stop the recording in RED and Sony (FX9) cameras. is there any other cable that is needed to achieve this? I would like to control the zoom and the start stop record using the zsd300d for red and FX9 cameras.
We are not aware of this controller working with RED and FX9 cameras.
