The Sennheiser CL500 is a connecting cable with a standard 1/8" (3.5mm) mini and balanced XLR male connections. The cable is specifically designed for connecting the balanced output of the Evolution series EK500 receiver to the inputs of professional audio devices such as mixers and Beta Cameras.

What can be said about a cable? It works perfectly, and more importantly it's well-made. However, I have found that when using these cables with Sennheiser body packs, it works better than other brands. Whenever I need a new cable for any of my Sennheiser body packs, I always go with these.

Yes, the Sennheiser CL-500 Balanced Cable 1/8"-M to XLR-M can be used with the EW11P G4 system receiver as an output cable.

The Sennheiser CL500 is intended for use with the balanced output from an EK500 receiver included with the EW 512P and EW 500 FILM systems. If you have an EK100 receiver, which has an unbalanced output, use the Sennheiser CL100 1/8"-Male Mini Jack to XLR-Male Connector Cable (B&H# SECL100). The CL100 cable is included with the EW 112P, EW 135P, EW 100 ENG, and other systems that include the EK100 receiver. As an alternative, you can also use the Cable Techniques Mini TRS to XLR Male Sennheiser G4/G3 Output Cable - 18", Black (B&H# CAMINUOX18) or Cable Techniques 3.5mm TRS to 3-Pin XLRM Unbalanced Cable - 12", Blue (B&H# CACTSG3OP12).
