The electronic eyepiece can be used with virtually any telescope. It is designed primarly to view live video black & white images of the Moon, some planets and land objects on any television monitor screen. Just connect the "RCA" type cable from the eyepiece to any TV set, monitor, video camera or VCR. The electronic eyepiece is easy to set up and easy to use, and comes supplied with a short 6 foot cable. The eyepiece will fit the smaller 0.96" size by unscrewing the outer barrel.
The built-in contrast control dial can be adjusted to the viewer's preference.
A 9-volt battery(user-supplied) is required. Purchase a "RCA" type adapter and long extension cable(user-supplied) to allows the telescope to be placed properly while the image is viewed indoors.
Besides the viewing pleasure this affords, it avoids the disalignment of the telescope when a viewer inadvertently bumps the telescope while attempting to observe through the eyepiece.
