This reflector has a 50 degree angle with a very even lighting across the span. It provides 1-1/3 f-stops more light than the standard 7 90 degree reflector and 2/3 f-stops more than the 9 Medium 50 degree reflector so I'm able to conserve battery on my Porty L 1200 by using lower power settings. It's a little cumbersome to transport so I just use the box it came in. I also have the 14 30 degree reflector which gives 1-1/3 f-stops more light than the 12 but you can't really use that one for groups up close like you can with the 12.

I recently purchased the 12 reflector dish for my Hensel Porty system as I am traveling and am happy with it and results. I shoot often with the Magnum dish which is larger and shaped differently and this dish is close !!
