This is just the mic only and it has a mini-XLR output connector which requires a power supply. You may want to purchase the same mic packaged with the compatible phantom power supply, which is the Audix ADX20IP Cardioid Condenser Instrument Microphone with APS910 Power Supply (B&H# AUADX20IP).
