question
Could this item be used with AKG lavalier mics?
The question you need to ask is just what voltage the mic you are using needs. Some mics will give a range (such as 2v-10v) and others will be more specific.... Others will not actually tell you, and if you read through the entire spec sheet and cannot find it you may have to call the company.Reading the tests done by other users, it seems the Audix APS910 gives out 2.6v. If that is within the range for your microphone, then it should work no problem. If it is out of the suggested range, either higher or lower then that will impede sound quality, and give you hiss, pops, and other distortion. Generally if it is too low then you will get a lot of distortion at low levels, though at higher levels it may be okay. If it is too high then you are likely just to get distortion all of the time, and depending on your microphone possible damage it. Note that while this device was tested by home users to give a constant 2.6v, an Audix rep. has said it gives out 11, (but this is unlikely when you look at the mics it comes paired with and is suggested for).By comparison the Nady XM-10 does give out a constant 11v, so if your mic is rated for something like 6v-12v, which is not uncommon, then the Nady might be the smarter bet. (Though a lot of folk have problems with receiving Nady equipment that is DOA, but that's a whole different problem).

question
Can this be used with condenser podium mics such as the Shure Centraverse CVG18-B/C?
This adapter is meant to be used with specific Audix mics utilizing a ta3f connection. This would not be compatible with standard XLR mics like the Shure CVG18-B/C.

will this power up an MKH 60 ?that needs phantom ...
will this power up an MKH 60 ?that needs phantom power, and then connect the output to a wireless plugon that does not supply phantom
Hi Royston,
Community is correct, APS910 does not provide Phantom power but adapts Phantom for correct voltage for Audix Lav, headset and instrument mics

question
Does this work with Sennheiser ME-2 Microphone Mic Lavalier?
No. It seems to only be compatible with Audix mikes. I bought one to use with a Shure Beta 54 mic, but it doesn't work - even though they both have the mini-XLR connector, the Shure has one more pin than the Audix. The Sennheiser ME-2 has a 1/8 connector, so it wouldn't work with the Audix adapter at all.
