Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job - could be improved I bought this bag to replace a Domke bag that had literally fallen apart after years of use. The Lightware product smartly has a reinforced base, which takes most of the weight and punishment during location work. This design is wise -- that's exactly where the last lightstand bag fell apart. However, it could use an interior sleeve or divider, which allows carrying more fragile equipment (like umbrellas) with greater protection and less risk of damage. I must add that few manufacturers produce bags of this length any longer (36-39). So in that regard, Lightware occupies a limited -- and necessary -- niche in the market.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bag! I have had another one of these bags for a few years and it is a great size to carry a few light stands, lights, and umbrellas. The first one has held up really well and as my gear collection grew to the point where I needed a second bag, this was my only choice. The bag, seams, zipper, and interior are all extremely high quality. The only reason I gave it less than 5 stars is that the item wasn't in stock and I had to wait over two months to get it. B&H was great about sending periodic e-mails that it wasn't in stock and would ship as soon as available, and it was worth the wait. However, if you need something quick for an upcoming shoot, you might want to consider another bag unless this is in stock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and Strong I use this bag for couple of my light stands and my tripod and everything fits in properly and makes it easy to carry. The stitching is strong and the material is very light and the price is way less than those big brand bags.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not what I needed I bought this looking for something to store my chimera's lighboxes in. The moment I took this out of the box I knew I had bought the wrong item. The problem with this bag and others designed like it, for me, is that the zipper doesn't really close the bag on the end not in this picture. It looked to me like my items would fall out and the zipper tracks that are bent into a semi-circle would probably break sooner or later. I returned it for a cheaper & padded interfit bag that works perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great storage and transport I use this bag to store two Manfrotto 367B lightstands, 2 Westcott Medium Apollo softboxes, and 2 Westcott 45 umbrellas. The bag is filled but not packed tightly. Usually it just leans in the corner of the room where my equipment is kept, but it has performed without trouble when I've used it to transport my equipment to a remote location. I realize this is not pro grade equipment and neither the equipment nor the bag get heavy pro -like use, but both serve my needs well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this replaces my old stand bag This bag is the same length but larger. Much more convenient to carry stands, tripod and softbox. Excellent product. I love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value long enough to hold my largest light stands and plenty of them. Thick material and strong zipper. No cushioning or pockets are the only drawbacks I can think of, but I knew this beforehand. In hindsight, pockets are easy to steal from and cushioning adds more weight to a bag that, by nature of what they're designed to hold, is already very heavy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It does exactly what it says on the box. I bought this bag to carry lighting stands and similar equipment and it was exactly what I needed. Although it does not have all of the padding that some of the more expensive options had, it was easy to carry around and much less bulky if you did not have it filled to the brim. Worthwhile for sure.
