    Lightware RC1038 reviews

RC1038 Rolling Stand Bag is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holds EVERYTHING I just used this to fly American Airlines to the US Virgin Islands. It was flawless. I loaded it with 49lbs and nothing was considered too large/heavy for flying. It was a checked bag. I put in 2 medium tripods with heads attached (manfrotto 755), 2 8ft light stands, a 2ft slider in a case, an extra fluid head, a monopod, and a glide cam. I rolled this puppy around the resort and was about to operate right out of the bag. It's got straps to hold things tight when needed, and loose when you want it loose. The pockets on the side are UNPADDED so don't stick anything in there you don't want broken from a hit. Build quality is great. Super heavy stitching and double zippers make it easy to open and close. It's re-enforced like luggage near the user-replaceable wheels so when you're rolling up stairs, it's solid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Survived 5 years of abuse! Wonderful bag that I've dragged all over, including airports and one Int'l trip. c-stands, light stands, tripods, even a sandbag at the bottom; this bag takes it all. Thanks to Zack Arias for the recommendation way back when :) Now finally the side pockets have holes (from umbrella ends) and the wheeled base is wearing, and etc. So I'm considering buying another--or possibly the ThinkTank 50 (which is $600!). Ugh. This one is a good value for the price; Will always recommend. Wheels for life,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from terrific option for busy wedding photog I've used Lightware bags for years, so I'm not surprised by the design and construction of this one. Serves me very well for my new, lighter kit of strobes, stands, tripod, etc. Now I can roll into the biggest weddings with just two wheeled bags...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid bag -bought 2! The bag fits our tripod nicely with zoom focus accessories attached which is a great time save for setups. The foam side panels are not quite as rigid as I would have liked but it provides alot more protection than a standard tripod bag. Having used the hard tube cases as well for tripods unless you are Air shipping I would definitely go with these bags again for either tripods or stands. if the bag is loaded balances it stands up on its own quite nicely as well as rolls quite nicely on hard smooth surfaces. The side pockets fit a fair about of accessories but they are unpadded. Good quality zippers and love the double zipper close feature makes getting the tripod out a piece of cake.... Cons: there are 4 strap down buckles (2 inside/ 2 outside) that you have to do up or they flap around so it slows down setups a touch when doing quick run and gun setups.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tough travel bag! Have used this bag for 4 years now. Excellent durability and storage. One side note. The bag doesn't stand as advertised. Well, it does, but much like my 7 month old son, I'm not going to turn my back on it for more than a split second. However, this doesn't keep me from giving the bag a 5 star rating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best bag, by a longshot I use this bag for local gigs and travel. I looked for similar bags but could not match the quality or usefulness. The one small item that I'd like to see them add is a zippered pouch on the inside of the main compartment. I use this for my Tripod, light stands and stingers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fully Stocked for the Shoot! Couldn't believe how much of my gear actually fit nicely into this durable bag. Can now go to the most complex of shoots with this bag (for all stands and diffusion) and my camera case and I'm set! Almost don't need an assistant anymore. :)
