Great quality and works great when mounted to my Mamiya 6MF. I leave it attached all the time since it's very low profile and does not interfere with any of the camera's functionality-- I forget it's there most of the time. The included pan-head screw is good quality, and I did not find that it was too long (once screwed down, put one finger on the outer part of the Allen wrench and lightly turn until it stops). The camera is able to sit on the plate (not attached to a socket) on a surface and stand upright on its own (without tipping forward) with the 75mm lens retracted, and marginally with the 50mm lens retracted. I typically use it with my Acratech pano head, along with my other cameras, which all have either Arca-Swiss or Acratech QR plates. Plates all fit snugly and are very similar in profile & width.
Great Plate, but Screw is Too Long

Using this plate on my Mamiya 7 caused the red warning light to show up and the shutter wouldn't fire. Tried everything and was going to send it off for CLA. As soon as the plate was removed the camera worked perfectly. Tried a normal QR plate and it worked perfectly. Then compared the screw lengths and the screw that comes with this is about 1/16 longer than the other screw. That must be applying pressure somewhere it shouldn't causing a fault. Just FYI. This seems like a great plate, but change out the screw, or put a washer on it.
