Middle Atlantic D4 Reviews
Middle Atlantic D4 4-Space Drawer
I bought one of these a few years ago. The first one was great. The quality and appearance was excellent. Overall I'd have given it five stars. I bought a second one a month ago. The quality control on the second was lacking. There was some scuffing on the front top of the drawer and the drawer was not flush when closed shut. So, I returned it and ordered another. Well... the third one has arrived and it is the same as the second one. I'd even say the drawer alignment is worse than the second one. It definitely doesn't feel as nice and look as nice as the first one. The drawer is not flush with the rest of the cabinet when it is closed shut. It's just not the same. I would conclude that quality control at Middle Atlantic is lacking. I was really looking forward to the second drawer in my cabinet looking as good as the first. To be more specific about what is lacking. The first drawer I bought is completely flush when shut. There are no gaps. The second and third drawer have about a 2 millimeter gap on the left side when shut. It stands out compared to the first drawer. Bottom line, for the money you do not get what you pay for. Considering these cost an arm and a leg I'd expect perfection. These are not worth it for an average consumer. Sure, a business can probably justify these, but for residential consumers I'd look elsewhere.

I use these drawers to store microphones and other accessories in our Front of House Racks. These drawers are very sturdy and latch keeps things in place even when rolling the racks around. The brushed black aluminum looks fantastic as well. Only downside is they are a bit pricey for a drawer, but they will stand the test of time.
