Rated 5 out of 5 by from handy cable replacing a mixer I have been thinking of trying this for a while for my canon 5D mark 2 camera. I have had so many bad experiences with small mixers between the microphone and the camera, so I thought I would try without. And with this little cable it works perfectly. Two wireless or one wireless with one shotgun on the camera, it is much less noisy than with a mixer. And you keep the separation between the left and right channel. The only thing I really miss is the headphone, but that wasnt totally reliable with the Beachtek mixer either, as you were listening to what you are sending to the camera, Not whats actually recorded. So as long as you check the recordings in between takes, it usually works fine. And remember to adjust the levels to the items you are connecting so the Left and Right levels seems pretty even.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for its intended purpose. I use this cable with my 2 X-mini II speakers I received as a gift, in order to get a true stereo output. I works wonderfully! The length (6 inches) is just about right to keep the setup minimal. ...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as described I use this to record two separate mono mics onto the left and right channels of my camcorder. Works well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect solution for my audio problem I used a H2 Zoom Audio recorder for recording interviews and was looking for a way to connect to lavalier microphones to it. As the recorder only has one stereo jack input, I needed something to be able to split the audio. This cable solved my problem! By allowing me to split the stereo input into two mono inputs, I am able to record separately on each channel (one left, one right). I then can simple covert the final audio into dual stereo in post edit. A simple solution at a cost you can't beat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works fine ... Niche product for sure, but if you need to separate stereo output to right/left channel, it does the job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from JUST WHAT I NEEDED When I shop at BH and there is that extra something I may need, well low and behold they usually have it! I use this y-cable for connecting my wireless and wired mic to my cam. It works well and it was priced right too! I wonder if they just have a shop under their store and just make stuff as needed, because it all ways seem to come up from their hiding place as you order it!!! LOL!!! your great BH!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cheap, but better the others The cable quality is thin and you can tell the product is of low manufacturing cost. It currently works, but I am not sure how long it will take for the cable to suddenly break. The rubber is quite thin. It is much cheaper then buying at the local electronics store, so I would say here you are getting what you pay for fairly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for getting 2 channels of audio! I use this when shooting video on small equipment so that I can use 2 microphones simultaneously. Since much of my modern equipment only offer a single 3.5mm audio input(Tascam DR-07, DSLR, etc) this works a treat. Makes it easier to get by without a camera that supports dual XLR inputs.
