The red out not work

Bought 2 but the red out not working right. Have to push and hold to work then try cheaper unbranded works fine. First try hosa also last for hosa.
I love their new design.

These are nice high-quality cables and this one actually had the tip and ring labeled correctly. so FYI they are worth double checking the wiring with a multi meter, I suspect that this is v3 and when I bought one a year ago it was v2 the functions were all correct except for the labels were put on the wrong colors. This seems to be a revision 3 version I think the female sockets are a little bit smaller molding and I really love Hosa's new design and it makes me want to buy their cables only.
