Split L&R Analog Preamp Output to Two 'Bi-amping' Power Amps
In this audiophile listening application... these were used to share the single balanced Left & Right line level analog output from a Hegel P30 preamplifier to the balanced inputs of two identical Rotel RB-1582 MkII power amps, to support bi-amping, bi-wiring etc. Hosa® products have always given me excellent results. B&H is the best!
Great Product!
I have no idea why I did not buy this sooner. The adapter lets me take audio from a Sennheiser MKE 600 and split it (first) into a PA system and (second) into an input of my Canon EOS C70. An unknown before purchase but later confirmed: this allows you to send phantom power from the camera via the female end and into one of the male ends for a mic. I recommend this as a poor-man's version of an audio mixer or press box/audio bank.
