Not sure they make them longer... But for longer wireless mic cable throws, like in cases where a 5', 10', 25' or 50' long cable extensions are needed... I go the XLR route.. using this XLR cable Adapter to extend it to whatever length I need. Does this cable have line-to-mic attenuation in-built? (Since Sennheiser EK100 outputs line-level and most DSLRs need mic-level?
The Sennheiser CL1 3.5mm to 3.5mm Output Cable for EW Series Camera-Mount Receiver will not attenuate a line-level signal to mic level. You would need something like the Kopul ACH4-25MON Line-to-Mic Attenuator Cable (B&H # KOACH425MON) to provide line-to-mic attenuation. Please be aware that the AF Out menu on the Sennheiser EK 100 G4 Camera-Mount Wireless Receiver provides adjustable output level so you can adjust the signal level and connect the receiver directly to the camera's mic input without the need for an attenuator cable.

Yes, there are similar cables that are a shorter length than the 20" Sennheiser CL1. The Senal Right-Angle Locking 1/8" Mini to Right-Angle 1/8" Mini Output Cable (B&H # SEAWSCBLMINI) is 15" long, the Cable Techniques 3.5mm TRS to 3.5mm TRS Right-Angle Coiled Unbalanced Cable (B&H # CACTG3CC8U) is 8" long, and the Sennheiser CL 35 TRS Locking 3.5mm TRS to 3.5mm TRS Coiled Cable (B&H # SECL35TRS). Sennheiser does not provide any information about the length of the CL35 cable, but it is definitely much shorter than 20". Any of the options mentioned above will work as a replacement for the Sennheiser CL1 cable.

Using this cable, can I run an audio signal from my Sennheiser G3 wireless receiver into my laptop?
yes, as long as you use have a program to capture it and the microphone plug in your laptop. The signal will work.
