Jobo 3010 Overview

The Jobo 3000 Series Expert Sheet Film Drums are designed to process sheet film with the highest quality possible.

It doesn't matter what system of development you're contemplating; hand processing, rotary processing, hanger processing, or any other method, using the Expert Drums will yield beautifully even edge-to-edge development of your film.

The Expert Drums fit on the Jobo CPA-2, CPP-2, and ATL-2x00 processors, (they don't fit on the CPE-2 or ATL-1000/1500).

The 4072 Lift Accessory is required for use with the CPA-2 and CPP-2 processors.

The 3010 drum holds up to 10 - 4x5" sheets at a time.

Worth the money

I know the price of this thing hurts, it certainly hurt me. But, if you are dedicated to doing 5x7 or 4x5, it's a bargain in the long run. If you can't do tray processing (ie don't have a darkroom) this is the nearest you'll get to doing multiple sheets of 5x7 at a time. Otherwise you're stuck to two sheets at a time using the Stearman tank. Not only that, but being able to knock out ten 4x5's at a time... wow! Follow the directions, pre-wet for two minutes and you'll get perfectly processed negs every time. I picked up a motor base on Ebay and use it for processing. The JOBO is built well and it just works. It does really help to have a pump to open the tank after processing. Again, if you're doing large format smaller than 8x10, you won't be sorry to own this. I use a standard size Harrison film loading tent to load my JOBO and it works fine.

Flawless negatives

I use the Jobo 3010 drum to process black and white negatives. It is easy to load in total darkness. Turn on the lights and you are good to go. It uses a very modest amount of chemicals. The negatives are even, no swirl marks, no scratches, no molting in the sky, absolutely beautiful.
