The Lift for the Jobo CPE-2 Processor is used to provide lab-quality processing of film and prints.
The Lift makes the processor easier to use, but it's not required to use the processor (except when using the Expert drums).
The Lift incorporates a transfer-gear that connects to the cog gear on the tank.
The processor is designed for advanced amateurs and small labs.
I use it on my CPA-2 Processor for replacement of existing CPA-2 Lift which has been worned out due to heavy use in the past 10 years. The crucial point is to take out the small Plastic Plate from the old CPA-2 Lift (which is used to plug in the Processor and fix the CPA-2 Lift) and screw it in the new CPE-2 lift at the same position, and then fix the new CPE-2 Lift to the CPA-2 Processor in a usual manner. The new Lift runs smoothly and quietly. It is a different world before and after installing the new Lift.
