The Truss Ceiling Adapter from Peerless Industries is used to adapt the Jumbo or Jumbo 2000 Ceiling Mount to square, round, rectangular, or I-beam trusses. It fits trusses up to 3" (7.6cm) in diameter, and can be used with or without an extension column.

We used this bracket to connect to a cross beam to mount a large projector in a training room. I also used this mount to custom build a 17' cross beam from wall to wall without any connection to the ceiling; AC vibrations on the whole drop ceiling made projection impossible. I used this bracket to mount to a combo of PVC and Steel cross beam. The mounting details that include a 'V' cut in the bracket helped make a stable mount.
