This Giottos QU 200 convertible tripod can be used either as a table-top tripod, or as a mini or hand-held monopod. The legs fold into the central column to use the U.Pod as a mini monopod. Unfolded, the legs become a platform turning the U.Pod into a stable mini tripod.
The QU 200 is compact enough that in can easily be carried around with the camera still attached
The ballhead allows for complete adjustment through any angle while the camera is horizontal plus a fixed 90-degree tilt to place the camera in a vertical position
