This Giottos QU 100 convertible tripod can be used either as a table-top tripod, or as a mini or hand-held monopod. The legs fold into the central column to use the U.Pod as a mini monopod. Unfolded, the legs become a platform turning the U.Pod into a stable mini tripod.
The QU 100 is compact enough that in can easily be carried around with the camera still attached
The QU-100 head is designed with a quick release mechanism for quick mounting and unmounting of the camera
