The Pelican 1020 feels extremely well built. The quality is exactly what I expected from Pelican. It's solid, durable, and reassuring for protecting small gear. It feels tough enough that you could basically stand on it without worrying. Great case for everyday protection. I use it to carry my SSDs.

Doesn't fit!

I was impressed when I received a call from customer service in under 24 hours. David was very sensitive to my concerns. Unfortunately after I expressed my concern about my new $80.00 smith eye protection glass' not fitting in the pelican container he assured me he checked the specs and it would fit. I received the pelican in a few days. I was very disappointed to discover that my $80 glass' didn't even come close to fitting. Nice quality product but too small. I didn't complain because the case was comped to me. Mama always says not to look at gift horse in the mouth... ):
