The Beyerdynamic MPC23 is a miniature boundary microphone with a half-spherical polar pattern, designed for use in conferences, round table discussions and sound reinforcement amplification. The microphone head measures only 1.18 inches (30mm) in diameter and fits flush into any flat surface. The condenser capsule features a half-spherical polar pattern, effectively reproducing signals at 180 degrees. The MPC23 mounts into a 24mm (.94 inches) hole and the included elastic bearing rings provide adequate surface isolation, minimizing surface noise. A contoured frequency response of 65Hz to 20kHz places emphasis on the sonic response of the human voice, while reducing low frequency noise and rumble. The microphone is powered via 8 to 52V phantom power source.

Beyerdynamic MPC 23 Overview
Small Unobtrusive Design
The MPC23 mounts into a 24mm (.94 inches) hole, located on a desk surface or ceiling. The miniature design allows unobtrusive, low-profile operation.
Half-Spherical Polar Pattern
The capsule features a half-spherical polar pattern which pick up signals at 180 degrees of the microphone. The MPC23 is highly sensitive and capable of capturing audio at long distances.
Contoured Frequency Response
The contoured frequency and sensitivity response is devised to accentuate the frequency response of the human voice, without low frequency noise and rumble.
