Properly hangs from drop ceiling to support LED lighting. Minimal weight so works perfectly. Hangs securely with no issues.

Does this mount allow you to turn/pan the fixture?
Yes. The U clamp connects to you light and the screw end fits over your rod so you can turn it 360 degrees.
