The answer is ... it depends. We suggest that read the data sheet. You will see you dilute this for a working solution. Thenee how much you actually use and take it from there. You can add use ILFOTEC HC replenisher at the dilution appropriate to the developer dilution. Do not use ILFOTEC HC
developer as replenisher.

If I mix the entire bottle of Ilfotec hc with three parts water I now have 4 liters of stock solution. I will further dilute the stock solution to make my working solutions. My question is how long will the stock solution last in bottles before I make my working solution. ?
It should not expire if your store it correctly , shake before use

Ilford Ilfotec HC Developer 1-liter (Concentrate) As long as the bottle is sealed there are no expiration day if you storage them under the correct temperatures.
Afer the seal is broken Ilford recommends replacing the concentrate solution in the bottle in betwen 6-12 months.

Once this developer is mixed from a concentrate to a stock solution how long will that stock solution last.? I followed Ilford's instructions and mixed the entire one liter with three liters of water to make four liters of stock solution. How long will that stock solution last.?
The shelf life of a mixed solution is about 2-3 months depending on temperature, humidity and how air tight the container is.

What is the dilution setting for Ilfotec HC Developer? 1:1 or 1:9 to make one gallon?
Mostly dilution ratio used for this developer is 1;31, it's a highly concentrated developer. For a gallon working solution : Mix 4 ounces of Ilfotec HC developer to 124 ounces of water. Keep in mind as well, the higher dilution ratio requires longer processing time. Check Massive Dev Chart (Digitaltruth.com) for different ratio and developing time.
