Fit perfectly, nice to not have my eye bumping into the dioptric adjustment lens!

Not exactly the best frame for the dioptric lens, but works.

I was expecting this frame to cover as much as the frame on my Sony Alpha a6000, which basically covers the entire eye once using the lens, but this other frame for my Canon only stops the eye from touching the small crystal screen.

question

Is this compatible with the canon EP-ex15 eyecup?
Asked by: John M.
The Canon EP-EX15 Eyepiece Extender would not use the Canon Ef Rubber Frame for Dioptric Lens by itself. The grooves on the back of the EP-EX15 Eyepiece Extender is to connect the original eyepiece that came with your camera onto the eyepiece extender. If your original eyepiece uses the Ef Rubber frame, then you may attach the frame to your eyepiece, which you may then attach to the EP-EX15 Eyepiece Extender.

question

Is there some secret to getting the rubber part of this thing to fit?
Asked by: Debby J.
The secret is that you have to have the correct one to fit the correct lens. I mistakenly ordered the wrong one and had to re-order.
