The Korg DTR1000 Digital Rack Mount Tuner is a chromatic tuner with a wide range of capabilities and "must have" features for the professional guitarist. It supports the extreme lows commonly found in today's music with its wide manual calibration range (438 to 445 Hz), in 1 Hz steps. Alternatively, the Auto Reference function detects an instrument pitch between 428 and 452 Hz and uses that as the reference pitch.
Tuning accuracy can be displayed in cents or via a "strobe" mode. There is also a flat tuning mode that supports dropped tunings between one and seven semitones below standard pitch, and two semitones below those offered by any other guitar tuner. The mute function can be used via the mute switch or by connecting a foot switch to the mute jack. Rear panel outputs are also provided.
