The Link Electronics PRC-970 is a video processing amplifier; it offers the ability to produce a black burst output along with the processing functions. This unit will sync to an external source providing all the timing adjustments.
AGC
A new approach to AGC is incorporated into the video and chroma level circuitry called DSR; the DSR constantly monitors the signal parameters and will keep each parameter within NTSC specified limits.
Design
This unit was designed to be used in studio and TV transmitter applications.
Video Detect/Axillary Select
This feature works when the primary signal is lost; the PRC-970 automatically selects the axillary input when primary signals are undetected. If no axillary inputs are found a Black Burst signal is generated and offered.
RS-232
When using the optional PSR-970 remote control can be utilized from up to 250 feet away.
Rackmountable
This device was designed to fit into a standard studio rack space.
