The PMD-371 professional 5-disc CD changer from Marantz provides up to six hours of uninterrupted music on five discs, and allows up to three of the discs to be changed while playing. It will play finalized CD-R and CD-RW discs.
The unit is ideal for background music applications, with random play modes and easy programming of play options. The PMD-371 can play tracks in a random sequence on a single disc, or an entire changer full of discs. "Introdisc Scan" lets the user hear the first 10 seconds of every song as an aide in song selection when programming play.
The PMD-371 can receive AMX or Crestron compatible control signals via a rear panel RS232C serial port, and can also accept RC5 commands through this same port. The unit is packaged with a custom rack-mount kit to ensure smooth integration into any installation.
