Problems with the design.

Manfrotto needs to go back to drawing board on this. The rubber feet screw on over the spike. Unfortunately they can unscrew and fall off easily. On a recent photo shoot I spent too much time backtracking to find the missing foot. On the plus side the wide feet are great when shooting on sand.

Tricky Install, worth having

I got a set for my 728B digi compact tripod. The installation problem was the existing feet. They did NOT slip off. They were glued on with some clear, glass like, hard resin. The rubber feet had to be cut and then broken off. Then the shattered resin residue chipped out, which was like breaking off chunks of glass. When finally cleaned off the new feet went right on. The feet do improve the stance of this tripod significantly on many surfaces. The tripod still fits back into its original carry sack when oriented correctly, but just barely.

question

Please help with the Diameter of the tube (Monopod Tube) that will go inside this item?
Asked by: Jacob K
Hi Jacob, diameter is a hard one to answer as diameter pertains to a circle and the tube is not round. The legs of the tripod have three flat sides separated by three rounded sides (best I can describe them). These are designed for that specific shape and would not fit well on a round leg of any size, in my opinion.
