Useful stereo bar
Even more useful than you might think. The main structure is a hex rod, so you set microphones with the clips at different angles. Good for M/S and for some coincident or near-coincident miking.
A really versatile mounting bar
I bought the Sabra-Som ST-4 instead of the ST-2 because I needed the bar to be a little longer so I could mount two AKG C414's in an MS stereo configuration. I just took the extra two mic mounts off and saved them for extras. Although this mount is mostly plastic, it's relatively sturdy, although it does flex a little with two semi-heavy mics on it like the C414's. The ST-4 is very versatile and easily adjusts to many different configurations. I use the bar vertically so the large diaphragm mic capsules can be right on top of each other, which is great because with any other stereo mount in this price range, you'd need a boom arm to tilt the stereo bar in a non-horizontal direction. Highly recommended.
