Gepe Plastic Covered Steel Cable Release with... Overview

This Gepe 20" long PVC covered steel spiral cable release fits any camera that accepts a standard mechanical cable release, and features a Zeiss disc-lock for longer exposures.

Spiral steel releases are stronger, but less flexible; their plastic coverings make them waterproof.

Strong build with thick plastic coating, matte finish. Spiral steel binding is tight throughout the entire length. Long throw, about 2cm, but maybe longer. Disc lock sticky at first, but improved with use. Seems like it should work well for many years to come.

Great Product

20 is pretty long and I wished I would have got the 10. Upon feeling the cable release and locking mechanism you can tell that it is vey high quality. The cable is pretty flexible for being encased in a plastic housing.
