The bottom collar on this lightstand has broken. I purchased a Porta Stand PS-3 collar to replace it but it's 1/8 too small in diameter for both the lower and upper leg sections. Are there any replacement parts available?

Will this stand hold on the horizontal end a Westcotte Strobelite Plus monolight and soft box ?
Instructions for Using This Stand as a Boom 1. Loosen the large long handle in the middle of the stand. 2. Loosen the top-most section of the stand. Pull that section all the way up. 3. Pull! - swing it horizontally for the boom feature, and lock it for the desired setup. These instructions are misleading. The instructions in #2 should say: Loosen the section JUST ABOVE the large long handle.......

Can you take out the clip from the end and put it ...
Can you take out the clip from the end and put it on the other end of the boom arm? I am trying to put a reflector so that the weight is equally balanced on both sides - specially when I do not need to extend it.
I haven't tried that. You can unscrew the knob and pull the bolt holding the clip and then take the clip off as far as I can tell.

No, the Impact multiboom light stand and reflector holder (13') boom is integrated and cannot be removed.

I can see that the boom can be configured at 90 degrees, and I am wondering if it is possible to have the reflector end of the boom angled downwards, with the other end angled up? Thanks for any insights!
The clips on this boom stand can be rotated a full 360 degrees, so you can have one angled downward while the other end is angled up.

If attaching a speedlite, will an accessory be necessary?
The end of the boom has a standard 5/8 light stand stud with a 1/4 screw. If you want to attach a speedlight, you will need to first attach something to the stud or 1/4 screw. The most common products for this is are a radio receiver, a cold shoe or a long off camera flash cable. Whichever you use, check to be sure it has a 1/4 tap for attaching to the 1/4' screw.
