The Ikegami RM-11 is a digital remote controller that is used to set up broadcast cameras for color and contrast parameters as well as controlling shutter, iris, white balance and gain controls. It is made to be used with HL and HC cameras and camcorders. The RM-11 can also be used as a control panel for the BS-45 Base station or the OCP-45 control panel. The paint-box uses RC-45 prefix cables for the HL-45 camera. The other cameras use RC-10 prefix cables. Cables length run from 3 meters to 30 meters.
A similar model called the RM-11NA was designed with the HL-59WNA camera in mind. Where the standard RM-11 has a switch for 3 menu selected gain values the RM-11NA allows for gain selection using an UP/DOWN switch. This system gives the user access to the full range of gain values without having to access the camera menu. The HL-59WNA where access to the camera body to pre-select gain positions is often difficult.
