I want to attach my Canon 90D directly to the Wimberly F1 flash bracket. Will the 90D, P5 and F1 combination work?
The Wimberley F1 is really meant for use with a long telephoto lens fitted with an Arca type plate facing vertically. If using the P5 Universal Plate with your EOS 90D, it would put the camera in the wrong position.

anyone using this for an a6000? i need something that won't interfere with the LCD articulation and will work with an RRS clamp.
It has not been tested specifically with the a6000 but that is one of the smallest made.And you can put the screw in the further back whole to slide the camera back to give you more room.

Im looking for a plate to use on a Wimberley WH-200 head to direct mate a Canon 5D Mark III. I currently use a P40 and P50 plates for my long lens but Id like the ability to use a small lens and direct mount the camera to the head. I tried a Job JB-01313 plate but the camera contacts the tripod head. Will the P5 work?
Yes, this is the perfect solution to this problem. It will work with your 5D III and will prevent the camera from hitting the tripod head.

Yes the Wimberley P5 Universal Quick Release Plate is just a Arca-Swiss style plate and works with the Z8 and many other cameras with the Wimberley MH-100 monogimbal. But note a L plate will lock the Z8 better and not slip on the plate. It is better to use one of these, https://bhpho.to/3q9a6oi
