Winsted J8469 Overview

Winsted's 3-Bay Base and 19.25" (48.9 cm) (11U) Slope Console with TruForm Work Surface (System/85 Series), Model J8469, is a modular workstation including three 11U slope racks attached to standard 14U base units.

This console has a laminated work surface and offers space for audiovisual equipment or other rackmount electronics. Winsted's well-designed modular system lets you easily add more bays and options as needs grow.

The TruForm work surface is 19.25" (48.9 cm) deep, including the front bevel, and is available in several colors (the stock color is Dove Gray). Steel top, side, and blank panels are finished in Winsted's Pearl Gray powder coat. You can also buy laminated panels in a selection of custom colors.

The J8469 Console is almost identical to Winsted's J8210 Console, except that it includes three additional 1RU blank panels.

Modular Design
Winsted's modular components are well integrated, so your console can expand and change along with your needs. Want to add another bay? Just purchase another pedestal, base, and rack modules. You can also build corners, angled shelves, and racks of varying heights by combining different System/85 furniture pieces.
Configurable Rack Accessories
Buy optional stationary rack shelves to support monitors, CPUs, or other non-rackmount gear. Blank panels also help you build clean-looking, enclosed consoles. Winsted makes a wide variety of compatible rack accessories, if you need more.
Custom TruForm Colors
In addition to Dove Grey, Truform work surfaces are available in Black, Slate Gray, White Nebula, Brushed Aluminum, Cherry Maple, Light Oak, and Swiss Pear Oak.
Space for Cables and Ventilation
The Console has open pedestals that let air flow and cables pass through. Vented side panels also contribute to thermal control.
Durable Kick Plate
Winsted Pedestals include 18-gauge stainless steel kick plates to protect them from typical wear and tear.
Optional Wheels
You can turn your console into a moveable workstation by purchasing optional Plate Casters (85782).
AC Power Options
Purchase custom power accessories to suit your environment. Possibilities include, among other options:
  • 98708 Eight-Outlet Power Panel (Rackmount)
  • 98709 Eight-Outlet Power Panel with Surge Suppressor (Rackmount)
  • 98714 Twelve-Outlet Power Panel with Surge Suppressor (Rackmount)
  • 98703 Six-Outlet Power Panel (Rackmount)
  • 10710 Ten-Outlet Power Supply (Rackmount)
Rackmount power supplies attach to the rear of your console, keeping wires neat and out from underfoot.
