All Compact Series microphones feature a 10-foot (3m) cable with a hardwired or removable Lemo connector depending on the microphone model.
The DPA 4036 omnidirectional capsule features a hardwired, rear-exit cable that is ideal for applications that require hanging. The omni-directional polar pattern provides an even signal and frequency response at the direct and off-axis sections of the microphone. The 4036 is an ideal microphone for close instrument capturing, particularly percussion, saxes, horns or grand piano.
