I think I get more than my fair share of uncooperative talent that no matter how nicely I ask, refuse to let me remove their lav microphones on location. I use dpa 4061 lavs exclusively and finally had a grid cap go missing on location when someone lost it after ripping the lav off of himself. Do yourself a favor and keep a bag of these handy in your lav kit.

Fit on the mic just like the old one did. Since it's just an identical replacement part, can't complain about it. It certainly does what it is supposed to do!
