The Matthews RoadRags II Flag blocks the output of any light source. The optional frame has an elastic corded frames easily fold for storing and transporting. By using the different materials available for the RoadRags system, the photographer/cinematographer/videographer is able to quickly create contrasts, different light ratios, diffusion or block the light.

I purchased the 24x36 kit about 20 years ago and have taken care of it while using it on hundreds of shoots. I am just now replacing the flag/solid because the fabric is starting to rip. I'd say I got my money's worth!!! I would 100% recommend this product.
I got this so I could have two flags, fits in the RoadRags II kit. Just so you're not surprised, the edge is soft and a little frayed. It works well.
I love the RoadRags system for several reasons: 1) It works. 2) It's extremely portable. 3) It's easy to use. I'm using my RoadRags kit exclusively for video production. It's easy to transport and easier to store, making my job a little bit easier. They're lightweight so I don't require as many sandbags to secure my stands. No more costly roundtrip shipping costs to have your flags repaired at the factory, it's more cost effective just to re-order a replacement flag. Having lightweight gear can save your back years of wear and tear. Trust me. I keep all of my RoadRags frames, flags, scrims and silks stored in a KATA Palms-2 case with all my dimmers, grip hardware, spare lamps, etc. If you don't own a grip truck, and work out of an average size vehicle, you owe it to yourself to take a look at the RoadRags kits.
Fancy+Compact=Pricey But well worth it!! They should sell a Road Rag Kit with two black flags and two skrims. If they did I wouldn't have to shell out more money to buy what I really need the kit to do for me, and that is double scrim and Flag. Oh well...
Just what I needed to add to my Mathews Roadrags kit. It's so nice of Mathews to have these A la Cart items for the Roadrag kit.
I have several complete sets of these flags. They are easy to transport and setup. Great for most purposes.
