the sheet holder was too heavy to support itself. I unscrewed the sheet holder and use the supports of this QuikLok MS303 along with a clip I had separately. Its exactly what I needed and works excellent even though I use it without the sheet holder it is still incredible highly recommended without the sheet holder
I am always trying to eliminate pieces of equipment to carry into a gig so the thought of adding a music stand to my existing mic stand was a novel idea. Unfortunately this product is extremely heavy and would not sit even on my stand despite all my efforts. I ended up purchasing the Pyle mic/music combo stand from B&H. That stand also has its flaws where it blocks me from staring at my audience, but it is a more stable unit. If you were going to purchase this Quik Lok unit, make sure you have a very heavy duty mic stand that can support it's heavy weight.
