Ordered 5 of these drum mic clips. 2 snapped not even 10 min after receiving them. Went with Shure thinking quality name brand product. Not happy at all!!!
I have this item permanently installed on the drum kit in my home studio (I have one on every tom). Seems like these would be worthy for live situations too. For the money you can't go wrong. If there is a downside to this product it may be that it's not completely rigid if you were to use it with a heavier mic, but it works well with lightweight mics.
