The AKG AS 4+3 is an automatic microphone and line mixer intended for use in teleconferencing, sound reinforcement, recording and broadcast applications. The mixer features four microphone and three line level inputs. All microphone inputs feature adjustable compressor/levelers for maintaining a constant audio level without dips in signal strength and peak distortion due to overload.
A switchable ducking feature attenuates all other inputs by 12dB when signal is present on channel one. This is ideal for moderators, chairpersons an anyone who requires priority over all other talkers, for the sake of controlling the flow of the conversation. Three line inputs are provided for connecting playback devices such as CD players, MP3 devices, video-audio playback, etc.
