The Remote Audio Betacam Breakaway Cables establish an audio connection between popular field mixers, and the balanced inputs found on professional Betacam cameras.
With the entire cable measuring a total of 20-feet in length, 8-pin quick release connections separate and reconnect the cable at 2-feet from the camera end. This allows for easier mobility and less clutter during shoots.
This cable is the 2-foot camera end section and is sold as an accessory (camera half of the entire 20-foot Breakaway only). This cable is available as an accessory for replacing lost or damaged camera-end cables, or for easily connecting Breakaway Cables to additional Betacam cameras.
