The Remote Audio Betacam Breakaway Extension cables feature 8-pin quick-release connections on each end. The cable extends the length on Betacam Breakaway cables and is inserted between the 2-foot camera cable end, and 18-foot mixer end.
I've been wanting this for a while now. Nothing's more depressing than lengthening your awesome breakaway cable with headphone return, with a couple of loose XLRs and no headphone return. Now I can breakaway at both ends and go wire someone up, without having to take my kit off.
