I got a pair of these cables to use with the Mini XLR outputs of the Zoom F8 field recorder. Using them to connect the recorder to a pro video camera and also monitor speakers. They work well for this and were just about the only pre-built cables I could find with the correct connectors. The cable is pretty thin, but I expected that.

Will this cable carry phantom power? I purchased some from another source and they do not work with my condensor tabletop microphones.
They carry phantom power with Crown PCC's just fine. That's all I've tried them with.
