The BD960 Broadcast Audio Delay from Eventide is designed to delay broadcast audio for obscenity control over the radio. It can be used to prevent obscenities being uttered over the air by delaying programming for up to 8 seconds and fill the time with silence or recorded audio.
Bypass Function
Bypass function allows the broadcast to operate without a delay or any fill control.
Manual
Manual control is offered to the user through the Delete function; when the operator hears an offensive word, the delete button can be pressed and held for a length similar to the delay time. The audio after the delay will be the first to hit the airwaves.
Call Interrupt
This device can be installed so when operating in a "call-in" situation when the delete button is pressed the caller is disconnected.
Fill Selection
The user can record fill audio to take the place of offensive material or select silence. The selected fill will happen automatically when the delete button is activated.
Input Levels
Input levels can be adjusted to work within studio parameters; the supplied LED level meters are used for level reference.
Remote Operation
Remote operation can be accessed via RS-232.
