This bar will be used for my chauvet 4play lighting system on a regular speaker stand. It will save me from having to buy a light stand and it gives me the height needed. As a DJ sometimes the simplest things bring us the most joy. This is absolutely one of those times.
Incorrect diameter

The tube is actually larger than 1.5, this causes the clamp mechanism to be unable to clamp onto speaker poles, and also causes the top section to not fit in many styles of speaker cups. Only fits in one of my speakers with a 1.5 cup, not the other five. Had to modify the top to be thinner on show site, then was unable to return due to modification.

It's a 1-1/2 extension tube and fits over a 1-1/2 speaker stand tube. Most speaker stands have a 1-3/8 or 1-1/2 pole (flip the pole to change sizes).
