I had to throw together some equipment in a rack including a Dell desktop computer. This was the perfect way to to install it. Very easy to use and looks great in the rack.

I use this to hold a Small Form Factor Workstation and an external hard drive in the three bottom spaces of a 6U rack. The RC3 is holding just under 30lbs without a problem. It's well ventilated and extremely sturdy. The one issue I encountered (which won't affect most people) is that my desk-mounted rack is only supported at the bottom of the front, so I added extra support to the back of the RC3 to prevent the weight from straining the frame of my desk. This has a lot more to do with the design of my desk (On-Stage WS8700) and the weight I have mounted on the shelf than the design of the RC3.
