The Photoflex Octodomes may be used with tungsten (hot) lights. This is a combination of a Medium (5' diameter) Octadome softbox, and the popular Starlite QL 3200° K 1000 Watt fixture.
Many photographers have chosen Octodome for its extremely even light distribution, ease of set-up, and the pleasing catchlight reflections in a subject's eyes. The included heavy-duty light stand rises to a maximum height of 12 feet.
Although equipped for 110-120 voltage, the Stalite QL fixture will function with 220-230 AC voltage, with the appropriate bulb and plug adapter, available separately.
Use the OctoDome without the face or baffle for a broad, high-contrast light.
Use both the face and the baffle for the softest, most diffused light.
Using gold and silver panels results in a warmer, more natural image.
OctoDome optional grids provide precise control of light.
