Clipping on lavs is always a bit of a pain. Most alligator type clips get the mic out of sight, but some situations call for something else. The vampire clip is good, but catches on too much stuff and the prongs get bent out of shape after using it a lot. The mag clip works great, but losing the magnet is always a worry because it's so small. Ours is black and that can make it even harder to find if dropped. The clip comes with a foot of monofilament for dropping the magnet down inside a blouse or shirt. Good concept, except the monofilament gets in the way when not being used. We cut it off. The clip allows the strain relief to be bent a bit to accommodate a small range of different cable sizes. The clip is expensive, but worth it.

Even though the advertising for this clip says it is made for B3 or EMW microphones, I use it for my Audio Technica lavalier; it's not a perfect fit but it works fine. It is the only one I could find online, so there is not much competition. The magnet is quite strong and holds well through the liturgical vestments that I wear. The nylon lanyard is also helpful.
